We will offer design ideas and discuss material options with your budget in mind, and provide a detailed proposal for your consideration. Collectively, our expert crews bring decades of skill and experience to every project, whether it is a new installation or the maintenance and repair of an existing one. Tyler Gerry, Owner
Since 2004, Tyler has grown Torrison Stone & Garden to become a full-service landscape construction and design company. He came from a small town in Western Massachusetts and began his career in corporate sales in Hartford, CT. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State College. Tyler has lived in Durham since 2003 where he lives with his wife and four children.
Brian Murphy, Landscape Architect, PLA
Brian joined our team in 2015 and is a managing partner of Torrison Garden. Prior to that he partnered with us on landscaping projects for many years. As a licensed Landscape Architect with a degree from the University of Connecticut, Brian brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and design, specializing in residential landscape architecture. He lives in Killingworth with his wife and children.
Suzanne Ciofalo, Business Manager
Sue joined Torrison Stone & Garden in 2011 and became a managing partner of Torrison Garden in 2015. She has 25 years of experience in business operations and management. For many years Sue was Operations Manager for a family business, Carlson Fuel Oil in Meriden. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University. Sue has been a resident of Guilford for 30+ years and has two children.
John Nunes, Fleet Manager
For over 10 years, John has been a key member of our team, managing our growing fleet, maintaining all equipment and keeping our crews supported with safe and effective transportation. He is also a CDL Class A truck driver. John lives in Middletown with his wife and three young sons.
Jason Astle, Project Manager
Since 2008, Jason has been a seasoned member of our management team. He has extensive experience in masonry installation and repair as well as landscaping. He spent his early career as a machinist for 14 years after completing the State Apprenticeship Program for tool and die. Jason is a life-long resident of Durham where he lives with his wife and step-daughter.
Matt Gregory, Landscape Manager
Lee Jackson, Sales & Project Management
Lee comes to Torrison Stone & Garden with a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Since 1995, having spent many years in the field as a laborer, then foreman, he has grown to love every aspect of the business. In 2004, Lee moved on to Business Development and Sales in landscape and masonry distribution to support many contractors throughout Connecticut. He resides in Cheshire with is family and enjoys coaching and watching lacrosse.
Dominick Serignese, Project Manager
Dominick joined Torrison Stone & Garden in 2015. He owned a landscape design and build company for more than 25 years. He also worked for the Town of Wethersfield. He is skilled in bringing to life distinctive design elements for our customers. Dominick was born and raised in Wethersfield where he lives with his wife and two children.

Frank DeFlippo, Project Manager
Nancy Boyle, Office/Scheduling Manager
Nancy has been with Torrison Stone & Garden since 2014. She was a store manager for the Bombay Company and has worked for the City of Middletown and the State Legislature. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Studies from the University of Connecticut and has an associate’s degree in Interior Design from Bay Path University. Nancy has lived in Middlefield since 1999 where she lives with her husband and three children.
Claudia O'Connell, Communications Manager
Claudia has worked with Torrison Stone & Garden since 2013. She brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and event management and has worked across several industries: publishing, manufacturing, healthcare, and IT. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Providence College. Claudia lives in Durham with her husband and three children.
Alyssa Ciofalo, Adminstrative Coordinator
Alyssa is the newest member of our team, joining us in the Fall of 2016. She brings experience in event planning and fundraising from the non-profit sector and has a BS in Communications from Arizona State University. Alyssa lives in Guilford.
