Project Manager
Join Torrison Stone & Garden and take the lead on high-end outdoor living projects across Connecticut. As a Project Manager, you’ll guide projects from first client conversation through final installation, working alongside a skilled team to deliver detailed, well-executed spaces. If you’re organized, proactive, and take pride in quality work, this is a role where you can grow and make an impact.

Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in the hardscape or landscape construction industry
- Strong knowledge of hardscape materials and installation methods
- Ability to estimate and prepare proposals with accuracy and efficiency
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Confident communicator with clients, crews, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and keep teams on schedule
- Willingness to learn and use estimating and project management software
- Leadership mindset with the ability to hold teams accountable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Fine Gardening Supervisor
Join the Torrison Stone and Garden team! If you enjoy working outside and have the experience and knowledge needed to maintain gardens, we would love to have you join our landscape crew. We are looking for applicants who are reliable, highly self-motivated, and hard working to supervise and manage a Fine Gardening Crew.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Requirements
- Prior experience supervising and managing a crew preferred.
- 2+ years experience in landscaping
- Must have knowledge of the characteristic, growth habits, & proper maintenance requirements for a wide variety of annuals, perennials, shrubs & ornamental trees.
- Regular tasks to be included are planting, pruning, deadheading, weeding, transplanting, and general cleanup.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the day.
- Must be fluent in English. The ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be able to work long hours during the busy season. Including Saturdays when necessary.
- This position requires physical activity on a daily basis. The applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have own transportation to and from our facility in Middletown, CT.
Landscape Supervisor
The Landscape Supervisor will supervise our landscaping & planting crews.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- At least 5 years experience supervising a landscaping crew.
- General knowledge of plant material, landscape practices, plant & sod installation, cleanups, mulching, pruning and seeding.
- Experience with tractor operation and finish grading.
- Ability to drive a truck with a trailer. CDL B license helpful but not required.
- Ability to solve problems in the field, manage deadlines and complete work correctly the first time.
- Must be able to work long hours during the busy season. Including Saturdays when necessary.
- Compensation depends on experience.
- Must have own transportation to and from our facility in Middletown, CT.
